History[]
Clash of the Titans (2010)[]
Kepheus and Cassiopeia are celebrating their army's recent victory over the gods by destroying their statues and temples when Perseus is brought to them. After Cassiopeia makes a boast about Andromeda being more beautiful than Aphrodite, Hades appears where he ages Cassiopeia to near death, kills some of their soldiers, and declares that he will unleash the Kraken to destroy Argos unless Andromeda is sacrificed to it. Perseus agrees to help King Kepheus' army find a way to destroy the Kraken.
When Perseus manages to use Medusa's head to turn the Kraken to stone, King Kepheus and Prokopion are killed when the petrified hand of the Kraken falls on them.
