In the 1981 film they tell Perseus that the only way to defeat the Kraken is to actually kill the Gorgon called Medusa. They are seen in the 2010 remake in another fashion style, looking more like monsters/mummies than human, in this film their names are: Enyo, Pemphredo and Deino, The witches are portrayed by, Ross Mullan, Robin berry and Graham Hughes.
